The Cloncurry/Mt Isa block is regarded as one of the most mineralised terrains in the world. Mt Isa Metals is rapidly acquiring a portfolio of Iron Oxide Copper Gold (IOCG) and Uranium exploration targets in central and northern Queensland. The Company has applications for 31 separate tenements covering three key project areas and providing it with a very large land position. Applications cover the Cloncurry Mt Isa belt where extensive aeromagnetic, radiometric and gravity anomalies indicate IOCG and shear hosted uranium potential. Mt Isa Metals has also applied for exploration permits over extensive areas of the Toolebuc Formation in the area north of Julia Creek and south west of Hughenden where current data indicates the potential for a new Roll Front Uranium and molybdenum province.
